Bookkeeper

SCI is seeking a bookkeeper who will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions with precision and integrity. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and responsive, with the ability to work independently while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. This role requires strong time management skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Do in This Role: Manage all day-to-day accounting activities via QBO including AR, AP, processing payroll (including creation and entry of payroll journal entry), credit card reconciliations and expense reports. Generate invoices, credit card charges, and other expenses. Matching and entry of manufacturer invoices into QBO. Maintain and update vendor records, collect W9s, and prepare year-end 1099s. Maintain and track accounts receivable along with collections as necessary. Manage payroll and employee onboarding updates. Communicate professionally with vendors and clients via phone and email. Assist with ad hoc projects as needed. What You’ll Bring to the Team: Proficient with QuickBooks Online is a MUST. Extremely detail oriented and accurate. Self-motivated and proactive. Capable of being persistent when necessary. Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to work with other departments. Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Discrete concerning confidential or sensitive information. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook. Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 4+ years of full-charge bookkeeper experience. Additional Requirements: Full-time, in-office position.
