Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health status and develop appropriate therapeutic plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Create individualized therapy strategies that reflect each client's unique needs and therapeutic goals.

• Engage with clients through various formats including individual sessions, group therapy, and family counseling.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records in compliance with state laws and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in regular meetings, workshops, and professional development sessions to stay updated with best practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve individuals and families, many of whom have limited access to mental health resources. This role involves addressing a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, with at least two years of relevant clinical experience.

• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.
