Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients to determine their mental health status and needs.

• Designing and implementing personalized therapy plans that incorporate evidence-based practices to effectively address mental health disorders.

• Conducting individual and group therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, providing clients with essential coping mechanisms and therapeutic tools.

• Regularly monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• Collaborating with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to ensure comprehensive treatment and support.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR), documenting client interactions, assessments, and treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Telecare, you will work with diverse patient populations experiencing various conditions such as anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse issues, trauma, and eating disorders. Your work will be crucial in providing culturally responsive care, addressing the unique needs and backgrounds of each client, promoting inclusivity throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of related professional experience in mental health counseling.

• Thorough understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Ability to handle crisis situations effectively, demonstrating calmness and empathy under pressure.

Compensation and Benefits\n
