Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Maintain and update accounting records using QuickBooks .
- Assist with general accounting and administrative tasks.
- Use Asana to manage tasks and workflows.
- Coordinate with management and other team members as needed.
- Support additional accounting and administrative responsibilities based on experience.
- Occasionally visit the company's warehouse facility near SFO as business needs require.
Required:
- English communication skills.
- Basic accounting/bookkeeping knowledge or related experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a small-company environment.
- Ability to commute to the San Ramon office approximately twice per week.
- Ability to drive to a warehouse facility near SFO occasionally as needed.
- Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or Accounting Assistant experience.
- QuickBooks experience.
- Japanese and/or Chinese language ability.
- Experience working in a small business or Japanese-affiliated company.
- Familiarity with Asana or similar task-management tools.
- Hybrid schedule with approximately 2 days per week in the San Ramon office .
- Full-time and part-time schedules can be considered.
- Company laptop provided.
- Occasional travel to a warehouse facility near SFO may be required.
