Work Environment

The Physical Therapist role is an onsite position at our outpatient office located in the thriving community of Ashburn, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to accurately identify patients' physical needs and limitations based on individual experiences.
• Design and implement customized, evidence-based treatment plans that optimize recovery pathways, prioritize patient goals, and enhance mobility.
• Utilize a diverse range of therapeutic modalities and exercises, adapting techniques to fit the unique rehabilitation needs of each patient.
• Instruct patients and their families on effective home exercise programs and lifestyle modifications, encouraging active participation in the rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including physicians, athletic trainers, and occupational therapists—to ensure comprehensive care and facilitate coordinated treatment efforts.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date patient documentation and progress notes, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and enhancing communication within the care team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with individuals across different age groups and backgrounds. Your role will involve assessing patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions, using various assessment tools and clinical judgment to tailor interventions that best meet their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid and current Virginia state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to develop therapeutic relationships with patients and their families.
• A commitment to providing high-quality patient care, demonstrating empathy, patience, and understanding.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in an orthopedic clinical setting is highly desirable; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply and will be considered.
• Previous experience working with a varied patient demographic that includes both post-operative and chronic pain patients.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate accurate patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k plan with employer matching, and generous paid time off ranging from 2 to 3 weeks annually. We also support continuous professional development with allocated funds for continuing education and training ranging from $1,500 to $2,500.
