Our work schedule promotes work-life balance with the following hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, including one late shift weekly and occasional Saturday hours based on patient demand.

Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse Practitioner in our neurology department, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough patient assessments and obtaining detailed medical histories to inform treatment decisions.
• Diagnosing and managing a variety of neurological conditions, and developing tailored treatment strategies.
• Performing cosmetic procedures, including Botox and dermal fillers, ensuring patient comfort and optimal aesthetic outcomes.
• Assisting in cancer screening processes and providing high-quality post-operative care to maximize recovery.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients to achieve their health objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with adult patients suffering from various neurological disorders, including but not limited to migraines, neuropathic pain, and Parkinson’s disease. Our practice also caters to patients seeking aesthetic enhancements related to neurological conditions. Emphasizing a holistic approach, you will address both physical and psychological aspects of patient care, enabling individuals to regain health and confidence.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in neurology or completion of a family nurse practitioner program with relevant coursework in neurology.
• Certification as a Neurology Certified Nurse Practitioner (NCNP) from the Neurology Nursing Certification Board (NNCB).
• Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in New York State.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates who have:

• Demonstrated previous experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in a neurology-focused setting.
• Advanced proficiency in administering cosmetic procedures such as Botox and fillers.

Compensation and Benefits
