Position Summary Vector Media is searching for a Senior Accountant in New York to join our Finance Department. The Senior Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager. This position is responsible for financial reporting and be a part of the full accounting cycle within a dynamic, fast-paced media company. Pay Range Details: $85,000- $95,000 base + additional annual bonus potential and competitive benefits and 401(k) match. The salary range is subject to change and may be amended in the future. Experience, education, skills, and other factors are considered when determining the salary offered. What You Are A self-starter with strong work ethic and a positive, team-first attitude Ready to own projects end-to-end — comfortable building processes from scratch, not just inheriting them Adaptable and energized by change; you thrive where no two months look the same Collaborative by nature, but confident making independent judgment calls when needed An analytical thinker who can translate complex data into clear takeaways for stakeholders across the business What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required 3-5 years of accounting experience, industry experience a plus but not required; public accounting preferred Solid grounding in GAAP and technical accounting through audit or advisory work Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience preferred Advanced Excel skills and comfort with the broader Microsoft Office suite Strong organizational skills and clear written and verbal communication Ability to manage competing priorities and see projects through to completion What You’ll Do Own day-to-day transactional accounting operations, including cash reconciliation, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, and accounts payable Spearhead all communication and accounting needs with the company’s joint venture Co-pilot the month-end close process, preparing and reviewing journal entries with minimal supervision Partner with FP&A and business teams on ad-hoc analysis, reconciliations, and special projects Identify opportunities to improve and scale accounting processes and controls as the business grows Vector Media is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, age, national origin, ethnic background, disability, veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law. #J-18808-Ljbffr Vector-Media
