Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for and maintaining all related information to the Revenue Cycle;
  • Consistently communicates system issues and scheduling concerns while working through all revenue cycle requirements;
  • Appropriately and accurately collects and enters required information for all access patients;
  • Maintains HIPAA Standards and Regulatory Compliance.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or GED;
  • Medical background preferred with knowledge of medical terminology;
  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service;
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred; Cerner strongly preferred;
  • Previous experience in a clerical setting required;
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy balanced with data entry speed.
