Assistant Brand Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Assistant Brand Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Work side by side with fellow associates developing marketing campaign ideas for our clients;
- Provides in-depth market and brand analysis/reports;
- Able to efficiently manage relations with third party vendors (i.e.: media agencies, social agencies, search agencies, promotional agencies, etc.);
- Budget Management;
- Monitor and track brand performance and initiatives through Nielsen and POS reporting systems;
- Support development of consumer activation plans (advertising, social, search, PR) and manage execution;
- Develop professional yet friendly relationships with clients so we can best suit their needs;
- Prepare and create engaging, meaningful and persuasive presentations;
- Capacity to understand and interpret qualitative and quantitative research for business purposes;
- Utilize CRM tools to track ROIs and customer reach;
- Inter-departmental engagement with Trade marketing, Sales and Supply Chain to assist in the planning and execution of new initiatives;
- Communicate with others including management any relevant information, ideas that will benefit our client’s representative and overall brand presence;
- Collaboration with various departments to safeguard company and use of its assets.
Requirements:
- Strong ability to collaborate successfully and build relationships with internal/external teams is required;
- 4+ years of marketing experience with prior CPG experience;
- Comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment;
- Experience with Nielsen or IRI reporting and analyzing current business and competitive trends;
- Ability to solve business problems with strategic, analytical, and creative thinking;
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills;
- Proficient in computer skills and databases;
- Bachelor’s degree required;
- Ability to be creative and perceptive with our client’s campaign;
- College degree and/or relative experience in marketing or business;
- Able to prioritize daily demands to meet tight deadlines;
- Eagerness to learn new marketing concepts and techniques;
- Punctuality and being flexible in work schedule;
- Positive and professional attitude towards our clients and coworkers.
