Our company is looking for a Alliance Director to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and handle inquiries, manage partner pitches, and on-board new partners as it relates to sales and business development;
  • Direct cross-selling opportunities to increase revenue and leverage relationships in order to better penetrate the market;
  • Lead partners and Coupa sales in regional business development efforts and manage joint account planning;
  • Provide thought leadership to drive growth and new opportunities involving existing or potential new partners;
  • Establish a vision of a committed Alliance Partner and Customer / Supplier relationship;
  • Coordinate and drive new business activities from start to finish;
  • Manage deal registration (within Salesforce), partner enablement initiatives, and regional partner communications;
  • Understand and remain current with the competitive and industry landscape;
  • Serve as the escalation point for issues/challenges regarding specific field opportunities and/or post-sale installation activities;
  • Engage technical, pricing and product teams and targeted Alliance Partner sales team to drive execution of alliance business plan;
  • Collaborate with peers to support product /corporate marketing for events and activities with designated partners and partner/channel-based offers;
  • Build long term and strategic relationships with partner executives, as well as, partner & field sales teams;
  • Leads company-to-company relationships to create solutions and develop competitive advantage for Workfront and Alliance partner in the marketplace;
  • Identify, understand and solve any obstacles or objections to the successful sale of 8×8 services;

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree required. Graduate degree preferred;
  • Strong strategic and financial agility;
  • Experience in Unified Communications, Contact Center, and Application Development;
  • Partnering experience driving solutions with Global Systems Integrators;
  • Experienced leader in Alliance Programs, Strategic Partner management, and developing and managing complex joint go to market strategies and programs;

  • Extensive knowledge of, and wide range of contacts within, the SaaS, Cloud, IT services, and Communications industry;
  • Advanced understanding of SaaS and Cloud technologies;
  • Ability to develop, manage and nurture multiple large opportunities simultaneously;
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
