Responsibilities:
- Experience with evaluation of proposed projects and new opportunities, including scientific, financial, technical, legal, and operational aspects;
- Comfort with biology technologies and jargon;
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills both on the phone and in person;
- Ability to lead and manage complex, multi-institutional projects through to completion;
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Access, Word, PowerPoint);
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks at one time;
- Must possess energy and drive to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously;
- Typing 60wpm;
- Knowledge of medical and life sciences research, including publication and funding of research;
- Research experience in the clinical or basic life sciences, including authorship on at least five publications;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while being collaborative in resolving problems;
- 3 years of experience in program management or relationship management, ideally in an industry setting; managing or coordinating large-scale projects;
- Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills: both written and verbal;
- Ability to manage high volume information flow of scientific collaborations in a very organized and timely manner;
- PhD in life sciences or related field.
