Sales Operations Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Become the primary technical point of contact with our ACR vendor;
- Develop, test, and implement new methodologies as necessary to help achieve sales targets;
- Manages & resolves data discrepancies in CRM system;
- Summarize and track CRM data monthly/quarterly/as needed (eg. usage, funnel, and activity);
- Assist with the development, launch, management and monitoring of multiple concurrent sales operations projects to drive sales success;
- Assist in CRM implementation projects, upgrades, customization, etc;
- Prepare executive level presentations summarizing market trends, revenue forecasts, and sales opportunities;
- Develop, generate and update annual Master Plan reviews for SVP, Global Sales;
- Develop and enhance sale executive scorecarding across all sales functions and enhance realized revenue financial models;
- Support, consult and execute on efficiency and improvement programs delivered to the global sales team;
- Assist in the design, re-design, implementation, generation and validation of operational global sales reports to capture all required metrics;
- Identify and acquire actionable market data and intelligence to facilitate sales executives’ new business generation;
- Reconcile sales and renewal actuals with Finance and Operations;
- Provide necessary data analysis to support marketing and sales campaigns, territory planning, and white-space analysis;
- Own the production and maintenance of sales assets and materials to facilitate the sales process.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics or Statistics;
- Microsoft Dynamics experience and Microsoft Power BI experience is a plus;
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams;
- Knack for data analysis and problem solving;
- Be an independent, self-starter capable of taking action to solve problems or fulfill responsibilities with minimal supervision;
- 2-3 years of relevant Sales Operations experience;
- Ability to analyze data and summarize findings into concise usable, action-oriented messages, communications, and presentations;
- Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities and timelines;
- Strong Project Management skills and the ability to handle multiple largescale, long-term, high visibility projects;
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines;
- Track record of working independently, following project plans, and leveraging coaching and feedback;
- Motivated and proactive learner and self-starter, pursuing continuous improvement in all job-related aspects;
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field required;
- Understanding of operational Infrastructure, metrics, processes, systems and tools for running worldwide sales operations;
- Superior strategic thinking, problem solving and analytical skills.
