Our company is looking for a Senior Project Superintendent to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the General Conditions (GCs) and General Requirements (GRs) (back page) for the project to maintain the budget;
  • Manage labor relations with subcontractors and Turner trade staff;
  • Participate in project pursuits, proposals and presentations. Main contributor insecuring the project during the competition phase;
  • Ensure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements at all times;
  • Primary liaison with owners/architects/engineers for the day-to-day construction activities of the project;
  • Respond to subcontractor requests for field issues that impact budget, quality orschedule;
  • Perform in the capacity of Stormwater Compliance Coordinator (SCC) in accordancewith Turner’s Stormwater Compliance Program;
  • Manage the work to ensure that it is installed in compliance with and confirms to the approved contract documents;
  • Ensure all necessary permits and insurance are in place and kept current for the term of the project. Act as liaison to inspection agencies;
  • Work alongside the estimating team in bid solicitations and subsequent follow-up with subcontractors and suppliers;
  • Prepare monthly project status reports;
  • Confer with supervisory and hourly personnel to resolve complaints and grievances within the workforce;
  • Analyze and document processes and issues and develops solutions to enhance efficiencies;
  • Perform all site safety inspections and maintain inspection records;
  • Prepare or review reports on progress, materials used and costs, and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports.

Requirements:

  • 30 hours in OSHA training required;
  • Certification in Storm Water Management required;
  • Bachelors in Construction Management or years of equivalent experience;
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Project, Excel and Word;
  • Possess a high degree of integrity and ethics;
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization;
  • Knowledge of CSI format;
  • Experience in leading projects valued at 20 million dollars or more;
  • First Aid and CPR certifications required;
  • Detail orientated with the ability to produce quality and accurate results;
  • Must have demonstrated the ability to manage logistical and mentally complex jobs;
  • Minimum 15 years managing subcontractors required;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Knowledge and understanding of managing complex large scale commercial construction projects;
  • Advanced knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods).
