Our company is looking for a HSE Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- High level of proficiency with Windows Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio;
- Insure compliance with all MSHA/OSHA and state regulations;
- Analyzes HSE statistical data and produces required reports;
- When required, be able to travel to other mining projects;
- Working knowledge of safety, environmental, and quality management systems;
- Conducts HSE audits, inspections, and assessments in assigned areas of responsibility;
- Supports implementation and sustainability of Scientific Drilling’s HSE Management System;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Conducting and monitoring all aspects of HS&E training;
- Assist the Project Manager with incident investigations, site and regulatory agency inspections;
- Reliable self-starter who is able to prioritize workload and efficiently manage their time with minimal oversight;
- Assures Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance with local laws, company policies, and client requirements;
- Able to meet strict deadline requirements and work under pressure;
- Manages the corporate safety recognition program at the Applied Technology Center;
- Oversee and help coordinate all safety and health aspects for employees and subcontractors onsite.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of API Q1,EPA, ANSI, ISNet World, PEC, and DOT regulations;
- Able to meet strict deadline requirements and work under pressure;
- Experience as an instructor for training purposes;
- Working knowledge of OSHA, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001;
- Detail-oriented, consistent, and accurate;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills (required to speak to large groups);
- Ability to professionally represent the HSE department with internal and external stakeholders;
- Reliable self-starter who is able to prioritize workload and efficiently manage their time with minimal oversight;
- SAP knowledge;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Ability to collaborate with others and be part of an effective team;
- Ability to work safely within the requirements of Scientific Drilling’s HSE Management System;
- Ability to Problem Solve;
- High level of proficiency with Windows Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio;
- Working knowledge of safety, environmental, and quality management systems.
