Our company is looking for a Electrical Project Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Fostering the team environment and promoting team communication while assisting in identifying and addressing team conflicts;
  • Assuming responsibility and ownership of the assigned project components;
  • Overseeing layout and/or reviewing drawings for a project;
  • Assuring compliance with project CADD standards;
  • Assuming responsibility for project design calculation files and assuring adequate independent quality control reviews on that work;
  • Understanding and monitoring the overall required scope and schedule for the project deliverables;
  • Monitor contractor quality performance per client guidelines;
  • Coordinate construction activities for all contractors;
  • Verify field conditions, constructability of designs, and assist in resolving problems during field construction;
  • Provides status reports to the client including status of schedule, construction budget and activities;
  • Provide field management for client construction activities;
  • Conduct meetings with client and contractors;
  • Ensure that client specifications and requirements are met;
  • Review all change orders;
  • Provide direct interface with contractors leads on project work.

Requirements:

  • Takes ownership of work thru project completion;
  • Extroverted personality, ability to supervise and lead staff offering coaching and oversight resulting in quality work product;
  • Bachelors Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering;
  • Must keep work area and job site neat, clean and organized;
  • Conscientious, enthusiastic and extroverted personality, able to initiate and follow through on assignments with little coaching;
  • Demonstrate effective work relationships with all project and engineering personnel;
  • Ability to set and track goals;
  • Personable and possesses the ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, subordinates and co-workers at all levels;
  • 2+ years of electrical construction management experience;
  • Represents the highest standard of professional conduct with other groups, department members and clients;
  • Experience with high voltage required (480V plus);
  • Possesses a knack for the ability to network and connect with peers, subordinates, supervisors and others within the industry;
  • Able to commit to and meet project deadlines, and driven to provide outstanding service to both external and internal customers;
  • Able to schedule and balance their time effectively, multi-task and possesses an internal locus of control;
  • Excellent organizational skills and able to prioritize multiple tasks without becoming overwhelmed.
