Responsibilities:

  • Conducting feasibility study to estimate product cost and analyze capital equipment, capacity, and capability requirements;
  • Participate in Kaizen events to improve quality and/or efficiency of existing processes;
  • Determine automation process engagement based off ROI with consideration to: low to high complexity & low to high volume product lines;
  • Modify preventive maintenance activities to ensure operational readiness of plant equipment and optimize production efficiencies;
  • Exemplary written and oral communication skills;
  • Provides project team input on system capabilities and assist teams with system design decisions;
  • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations;

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering is preferred;
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university;
  • 5 to 10 years related experience in a similar environment; experience with cast iron machining strongly preferred;
