Our company is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design fixtures, jigs and tools as required for production;
  • Create manufacturing documentation, which is clear and concise and can be utilized by typical manufacturing personnel;
  • Creates and implements manufacturing cells when applicable;
  • Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency;
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and report any defective PPE;
  • Support the Operational Excellence Team with process improvement initiatives;
  • Define manufacturing build documentation concepts & approach;
  • Evaluate sample parts from customers for feasibility studies;
  • Provide timely communication of project reporting, schedules, status, issues, and potential misses or exceptions on a regularly-scheduled basis;
  • Work with senior management to identify industry best practices for manufacturing equipment;
  • Assesses changes required in the production of parts and develops ways to sustain and continuously improve all implemented ideas;
  • Must have good English written and verbal communication skills;
  • Create part list/drawings;
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Ensure that production and test processes are being followed fully and correctly.

Requirements:

  • Lean certification;
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting, analytical and planning skills;
  • Working knowledge of instrumentation, electro-mechanical, electro-magnetic devices;
  • Manufacturing environment exposure;
  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution;
  • Familiarity with ePDM or other PLM software;
  • US Citizen is required;
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field;
  • Define manufacturing build documentation concepts & approach;
  • Computer Literate with experience in the Microsoft Office Suite and Solid works;
  • Proficiency in mechanical assembly (press fits, adhesive bonding, fastener selection);
  • Working knowledge of OSHA Safety standards, quality and environmental laws, regulations and goals;
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering — Masters of Business Administration is highly desirable;
  • Experience as a supervisor with responsibility for direct reports;
  • Extensive experience in CNC processes.
