Our company is looking for a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent a Positive Organizational Image to the Customers;
  • Work with CNC Programmers to create solid Manufacturing processes;
  • Comply with All ISO and BHI Standards;
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior Manufacturing Engineers;
  • Participate in risk management activities;
  • Provide/review information and documentation to outside vendors to facilitate production of parts and instrumentation;
  • Provide appropriate documentation to support regulatory submissions and technical files;
  • Manage cleaning and sterilization validations appropriate to standard requirements;
  • Work with project team members and/or end users to establish product requirements as they relate to the functional area;
  • Contribute to the development of product specifications, drawings and other design output relating to functional area;
  • Travel to industry trade shows, conventions, and off-site vendors to define and review functional related processes;
  • Manage manufacturing process validations appropriate to standard requirements;
  • Conduct and manage research projects focused on advanced manufacturing technologies and industrial applications;
  • Lead development of internal expertise in industry 4.0 technology areas;
  • Interface with customers, develop and perform manufacturing assessment, and lead and support development of project proposals.

Requirements:

  • Lean Manufacturing experience;
  • 5-8 years related manufacturing engineering;
  • Experience with automation solutions;
  • Six Sigma and/or ACE Associate training would also be considered an asset;
  • 5 years Experience in Aerospace manufacturing, including Surface Finishing, Machining, Paint and Assembly;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CAD software;
  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills with proven problem solving ability;
  • Strong ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals;
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field;
  • Direct or indirect people leadership experience managing projects preferred;
  • Experience with applications of AI and/or vision inspection systems;
  • Experience with business process mapping, problem solving, continuous improvement and lean management principles;
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of product manufacturing experience;
  • Strong collaboration and communication, writing, project management, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills;
  • Experience interacting with customers.
