The Senior Structural Engineer performs analysis of building materials for use in construction. Designs load-bearing structures or structural elements, such as buildings, bridges, or roadways. Responsibilities:

  • Knowledgeable with Risa-3D and STAADPro analysis software;
  • A minimum of 5-7 years demonstrated experience in structural design is required;
  • Professional Structural Engineer (SE) license required for California and/or Illinois;
  • Related post-secondary education;
  • Ability to travel when needed required;
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship;
  • 10+ years of experience working with public agencies or private clients;
  • AutoCad experience required;
  • Performing structural inspections and assessments of existing structures and equipment;
  • Professional licensure in Illinois preferred but not required;
  • Coordinating with various permitting agencies;
  • MicroStation and Geopak experience required;
  • P.E. in Texas, or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
