Our company is looking for a Corporate Tax Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage client relationships;
  • Manage teams of tax professionals/assistants working on client projects;
  • Advise clients and be responsible for delivering high quality tax service and advice;
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team helping to provide industry knowledge and experience;
  • Participate in and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm;
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team helping to provide a wide range of tax services to Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) clients;
  • Supervise and aid in the development and training of employees;
  • Provide comprehensive day-to-day advisory and tax compliance services;
  • Develop and mentor associates and interns;
  • Provide regulatory representation and tax provision preparation and review.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, J.D., LL.M. in taxation, and/or Masters in Taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university;
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to articulate complex information;
  • A minimum of two years of corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm;
  • Ability to handle multiple engagements and client service teams;
  • Excellent advisory and compliance skills;
  • Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations, partnerships ,and a solid knowledge of ASC 740;
  • Client focused and results-driven;
  • Knowledge of a broad range of corporate tax matters;
  • A minimum of one year of corporate tax experience;
  • Experience mentoring team members;
  • A minimum of three years of experience in corporate tax;
  • Japanese and English bilingual skills;
  • Excellent research, writing, and project management skills.
