Director of Program Management Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Director of Program Management to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Communicating new/updated programs, policies, and processes to leaders, employees, and cross functional organizations,
- Maintain visibility, communicate and educate on key program components;
- Provide guidance in the planning, design, and prioritization of business initiatives and projects as defined by the Supply Chain Leadership Team;
- Working with BI, AdOps and Development Ops to improve our operational performance,
- Attend weekly and monthly meetings and prepare agendas and summaries for these meetings;
- Create fully integrated development plan and timelines and monitor key milestones and decision points to drive delivery of program objectives;
- Contribute to program strategy, risk assessment, scenario planning and facilitating rapid and informed decision-making;
- Coordinate project management methodology with those of internal business partners in finance, quality, operations and supply chain;
- Leads the design and execution of cross-functional program plans for drug development with a variety of program management tools;
- Support site adoption and improvement of the corporate Customer Experience Management program;
- Adhoc engagement in organizational projects to support biz needs / leadership asks;
- Awareness and inclusion of industry trends around customer support, customer and agent experiences, and performance enablement innovation;
- Provides strong project team leadership and champions project team collaboration and team work;
- Maintain strong business relationships and drives growth through strategic program governance;
- Champion deployment of approved business maturity solutions.
Requirements:
- Willing and able to be “hands on”, doing the day to day activities to build programs;
- Familiarity with general principles of GLP, GCP, GMP and ICH;
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead teams;
- Prior drug development experience (preferably with biologics);
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Demonstrated technical problem solving and communication skills;
- Bachelor’s degree;
- 7+ years of project/program management experience;
- Interest in and understanding of the investment industry;
- Data analysis/presentation: SQL and Power BI or equivalent experience;
- Project/Program Management Professional certification is a plus;
- Excellent analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail;
- Knows how to ‘cut to the chase’ and demonstrates rigorous pursuit;
- Strategic thinker to drive Support objectives for both short and long-term growth;
- Proven ability to deliver on strategic and tactical business objectives.
