Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments. Additionally, Program Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Prepares proposals to win new programs. Requires a bachelor’s degree. Typically reports to a department head. The Program Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Program Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 – 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • Facilitate the definition of program / project scope, goals and deliverables.

Requirements:

  • 3+ year of Business Process analysis experience;
  • Knowledge and experience in CBRN material as well as an understanding of the hazards associated with their manufacture, transport and use;
  • Strong organization skills, project management experience a strong positive;
  • Ability to work independently, and with integrated with cross-functional teams;
  • Able to create functional specifications, project schedules and program plans to deliver mechanical components, assemblies and connectors;
  • Excellent communication both verbal and written, with the capability of addressing senior management and peers alike;
  • Must be able to climb stairs and use tools to maneuver materials;
  • Expert skills in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project;
