Salesforce Business Systems Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Salesforce Business Systems Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates, plans, and leads UAT, End to End test execution & defect/change tracking;
- Conducts risk assessment using methods to identify risk, probability, impact, and plans mitigation to identified risks;
- Work with the Product Owner in identifying and guiding strategic technology and functional dependencies for product roadmap development;
- Manage requirements to understand the requirements change process, and traceability;
- Act as liaison between business stakeholders and Business Technology software development teams;
- Document AS-IS and TO-BE business process flows, analyze policy, systems, and stakeholder impacts;
- Drive business process design and documentation of feature assessment, requirements gathering, analyzing, and communicating stakeholder needs;
- As SME, provide advice and feedback to internal CRM team regarding support, configuration and general Salesforce architecture;
- Design and maintenance of Customer and Partner Communities;
- Create and document functional requirements for business needs, technical specs for solution design, and sign-off for delivery;
- Work closely with third-party vendors, including software providers and consultants, to implement new solutions;
- Optimize and troubleshoot Salesforce and its integrated 3rd party business applications;
- Responsible for the timely delivery of projects as per established roadmaps by working closely with the business teams;
- Implement Client Service software to build out effective and efficient business processes for the Client Service teams;
- Drive resolution of design trade-offs between declarative, code, and third-party tools.
Requirements:
- 5+ years Salesforce administration experience;
- Project management skills; comfortable managing multiple initiatives;
- Experience working in an agile environment and using Atlassian tools a plus;
- An understanding of SQL and database relational models;
- Salesforce certification required;
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
- Experience working with agile methodologies;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Additional Salesforce Certifications;
- Knowledge of end-to-end testing: unit testing, UAT, QA testing, and smoke testing;
- Knowledge of SOQL, Visual Flow, Visualforce/APEX;
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required;

- Strong understanding of business practices and processes.
