Our company is looking for a Scheduling Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner;
  • Follow up on internal and external customer questions or issues;
  • Schedule interviews for Loan Consultants and Loan Processors;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Schedules diagnostic tests, procedures and surgeries and may provide patient with necessary preparation instructions;
  • Reports all complaints and/or problems related to off hour issues (answering service) or On-call;
  • Reports staff who service clients outside the scheduled times without notification to the office;
  • Submits written time requests 2 weeks or more in advance of planned time off;
  • Prints and distributes weekly accurate schedules;
  • Complies with all department specific policies and procedures;
  • Takes incoming referrals without delay;
  • Participates in the QA Committee & orientation process as requested;
  • Opens all staff requests within 48 hours of receipt;
  • Identifies and reports problems to the Scheduling Supervisor or Manager;
  • Actively works to encourage departmental growth (networking).

Requirements:

  • Must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines;
  • Knowledge of general healthcare staffing requirements;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Minimum of two years in a staffing and/or recruiting position;
  • Must have a good memory with the ability to multi-task;
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Previous data entry, customer service, and phone skills experience required;
  • FSA or HSA options;
  • Outstanding customer service skills;
  • Must pass background check;
  • High school graduate or equivalent;
  • Outstanding follow up skills;
  • Must be able to follow a defined list of tasks and follow the established procedures completing them in a timely fashion;
  • Must have a criminal background check.
