Our company is looking for a Senior Logistics Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a TO/technical data library;
  • Setup, coordinate, and facilitate meetings, VTCs, and conferences as assigned;
  • Analyze GFE/GFP, support equipment, life support, and demilitarization requirements, as required;
  • Resolve DMSMS issues, research parts availability, establish anti-tamper (AT) parts supply priority, and resolve MICAP situations;
  • Maintain, interrogate, and analyze data files for all depot and modification aircraft from cradle to grave;
  • Arrange and support engineering data/TO/commercial manual guidance conferences and in-process reviews;
  • Perform analyses of sustainment or related DMSMS issues and recommend suitable replacements;
  • Ensure that supply systems are supported and procedures are followed per DoD guidance;
  • Support scheduled and unscheduled depot maintenance and modification tasks and weapons system sustainment activities;
  • Obtain needed logistics resources and participate in site surveys and program reviews;
  • Identify the cost of parts, lead-times, and sources of repair or manufacture;
  • Manage life cycle logistics planning, to include end of program requirements and life cycle cost development;
  • Prepare an engineering data management plan, TO verification plans, and TO management plans;
  • Provide technical, analytical, and sustainment support for depot activation efforts;
  • Drive efficiencies and cost reduction projects for all transportation, logistics, and distribution activities.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree and ten years of experience required Bachelor’s degree and eight additional years may be substituted;
  • Secret clearance required;
  • Experience working with a TMS, WMS, IMS, and other Supply Chain systems;
  • Must have the experience and capability to support the assigned tasks and lead journeyman and junior level support personnel;
  • 5+ years in a management role;
  • Thorough understanding of Customs regulations and other Government Agency procedures;
  • 10+ years experience in Logistics;
  • Experience in managing a fleet of vehicles, trucks and/or industrial equipment;
  • Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related area;
  • Significant experience applying and assigning Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) to new products, and across similar products and product families;
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook;
  • Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software (e.g., SAP, ERP, CRM);
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
