Client Services Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Client Services Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Responding to requests for assistance in a timely manner;
- Troubleshooting a broad range of technical issues on the hardware, application, and OS levels;
- Developing a full understanding of all company products;
- Installation, migration and upgrade of the company products on accelerated time schedules;
- Creating and reviewing knowledge base documentation and FAQs based on issue solutions;
- Managing resolution of technical and non-technical issues for company clients;
- Participate in on-call rotation;
- Conducting training on various company Products and Services.
Requirements:
- Strong command of HTML, CSS, javaScript (including frameworks such as jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular, Backbone, Node);
- BS degree in computer science or equivalent experience in software implementation;
- Aptitude for learning new technologies quickly;
- Comfort interacting with clients through written and verbal communication;
- Track record of problem solving and innovation;
- Able to work on multiple implementation and projects simultaneously, along with ongoing client technical troubleshooting support;
- Knowledge of back-end web languages (PHP, Java, Node) as well as comprehensive understanding of object-oriented programming would be a bonus;
- Creative problem solving. You’re comfortable overcoming technical roadblocks using whatever works best for that specific scenario;
- Strong experience working with APIs, Ajax, JSON, XML;
- Track record of previous implementations of third party SaaS products;
- Familiarity with e-commerce systems like Stripe, Braintree, Zuora.
