Our company is looking for a Sr. Solutions Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a deep understanding of the overall HashiCorp technology portfolio and the competitive landscape;
  • Help foster an environment for ongoing strategic customer success;
  • Defines technical design documents practical information architecture and data management solutions for ongoing data quality assurance;
  • Influences and consults with senior leadership and project teams;
  • Serves as subject matter expert for all application designs, business rules, and processes;
  • Coordinate efforts to complete experiments and proof of concept (POC) testing, including: Designing experiments and writing test procedures;
  • Develops operating plans and workable business processes for own department in alignment with function strategy;
  • Provide technical leadership on projects and new development efforts;
  • Providing timely, concise, and relevant reports on the completion of testing;
  • Provides advanced support during production incidents to reduce outage and trains other staff on trouble shooting and incident resolution;
  • Trains/mentors development staff; engages with Systems Analysts on development projects;
  • Recommends standards that are consistent with the company future direction;
  • Motivate on time project completion;
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation (product specifications, datasheets, etc.);
  • Enthusiastically pursue meeting and exceeding customer requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in understanding concepts and technologies in DevOps, IT operations, security, cloud, microservices, containers, and scheduling platforms;
  • Experience with implementing software products or solutions to large and dynamic enterprise companies;
  • Domestic and occasionally international travel required;
  • 5+ years Technical Pre-Sales / Sales Engineering experience or equivalent experience – practitioners are welcome as well;
  • Ability to work well in a highly dynamic / team environment that focuses on providing above industry standard customer service;
  • Proficiency and/or knowledge of existing HashiCorp tools such as Vagrant, Packer, Terraform, Consul, Nomad, Vault and others;
  • B.S. degree in an engineering or similar program from an accredited college / university preferred or equivalent experience;
  • BS/BA degree (computer sciences, information systems preferred), technical certification, or equivalent experience;
  • 5+ years of MuleSoft, IIB, Java and Spring experience;
  • B.S. or higher in STEM areas of study, Physics or EE preferred;
  • 5+ more years of engineering experience;
  • Travel: Approx. 30%, domestic and international;
  • Proven problem-solving skills;
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
  • Software/scripting skills are a plus.
