Electrical Apprentice Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Electrical Apprentice to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Track apprenticeship OJT hours & submit monthly;
- Install raceways, pull wire, and mount equipment;
- Dig trenches as needed;
- Assemble and install small to large electrical parts & pieces;
- Perform duties as assigned by foreman/lead;
- Scanning or signing materials in/out of inventory;
- Deciding on best routing options for conduit, wires, and other systems;
- Performing Vehicle Maintenance;
- Taking steps to ensure maximum safety on the worksite;
- Attending Required Safety Training Meetings;
- Deciding when additional materials are needed in order to complete required work;
- Following state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code;
- Maintaining Corporate Health & Safety Standards;
- Controlling inventory on truck, jobsite, and in/out of stock (for active jobs);
- Loading materials, lifts, trailers, and other equipment.
Requirements:
- Willing to travel as needed;
- Self-motivated and flexible to accommodate changes in Weifield Group’s business strategies;
- Possess strong interpersonal skills in order to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment;
- Candidate must have a proactive approach to problem solving;
- Able to read, speak and understand English;
- References that will verify your professional skills and experience;
