Our company is looking for a Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational and safety performance standards;
  • Utilize root-cause analysis skills to investigate breakdown and line stoppages while collaborating with other departments;
  • Operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs;
  • Support the facility’s food safety and food quality programs to assure compliance and achieve desired results;
  • Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters or other testing devices;
  • Examine objects, systems or facilities and analyze information to determine needed repairs;
  • Read electrical schematics;
  • Work on electrical systems up to 480 VAC;
  • Strong knowledge in motor control circuits, automated valves and process controls;
  • Follow parts check out procedure;
  • Complete PM’s as assigned;
  • Hands on practical operation of and safe storage practices of ARC and MIG welding equipment to include; OXY/ACETYLENE, and PLASMA welding and cutting;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and complete projects on due dates;
  • Train production and other maintenance personnel;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • PLC and electrical experience required;
  • Journeyman card preferred;
  • Two year technical degree preferred.
