Our company is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line;
  • Other duties as required;
  • Cleaning calcareous deposits, accretions and stains from teeth and beneath gum margins with dental instruments;
  • counseling patients about good nutrition and its impact on oral health;
  • Scaling;
  • Performs other related duties as assigned;
  • Work in partnership with the doctor to capture prosthodontic exam information to be used for implant treatment planning;
  • Apply cavity-preventive agents, such as fluorides and pit and fissure sealants;
  • Perform root planning as a periodontal therapy;
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
  • Applying preventive materials to the teeth;
  • Provide all care in conjunction with accepted professional dental practices and standards;
  • Maintain patient confidentiality;
  • performing documentation and office management activities;
  • applying preventive materials to the teeth (e.g., sealants and fluorides).

Requirements:

  • Cleaning calcareous deposits, accretions and stains from teeth and beneath gum margins with dental instruments;
  • X-Ray Certification: Meet all local and state requirements to operate radiography equipment;
  • Commitment to providing world class patient experience;
  • Be confident with scheduling, SRPs, perio maintenance, prophy, x-rays and sterilization;

  • Ability to perform clinical hygiene functions thoroughly, such as processing/evaluating;
  • Spend a minimum of 75% of time performing duties which involve direct contract with inmates/residents;
  • Registered Dental Hygiene License in the state of Ohio;
  • Intra-oral camera use;
  • Bilingual is a plus;
  • Perform scaling, cleaning and polishing of teeth;
  • Render Treatment to gums and tissue surrounding teeth;
  • Proficiency with scheduling and treatment discovery.
