Our company is looking for a LPN or RN to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care;
  • Take vitals, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, etc;
  • Performs focused interview to identify specific patient needs;
  • Follow state and federal mandated standards and procedures;
  • Collect, track, and maintain patient history; record any new data;
  • Report any unusual or drastic changes in patient behavior/symptoms; seek help from superiors when needed;
  • Take instruction from and report updates to registered nurse/overseeing physician;
  • Collect samples and monitor catheters;
  • Planning and managing patient care according to each patient’s needs;
  • Verifying that patient charts are updated promptly and accurately;
  • Takes vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure);
  • Administer medications and document therapeutic effects;
  • Interviewing patients and recording their medical history;
  • Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas.

Requirements:

  • Clinical experience;
  • BLS certified;
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), in good standing;
  • Ability to Work Independently with access to RN Supervisor;
  • One year prior Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience preferred;
  • Current CPR Certification;
  • Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN ) Current VA State License, Registered Nurse (RN) Current VA State license;
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray;
  • Updated resume;
  • Preferred 2 years LTC experience;
  • Current TB skin test;
  • Current CPR Card;
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), in good standing.
