Machine Maintenance Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Machine Maintenance to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Handle confidential information on a regular basis;
- Order replacement parts;
- Take on and complete any work that is assigned by the tool room Area/Shift leaders;
- Clean and lube machinery and equipment;
- Fabricate and machine simple parts;
- Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic repair;
- Disassemble and evaluate problems;
- Verify all safety features are in place and operating properly;
- Lockout / Tagout equipment as required to working safely;
- Inspect component and replace as required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required;
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as required;
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; push/pull up to 70 pounds; transfer 50 – 100 pounds with the help of another person;
- Good mechanical aptitude and experience with electrical, hydraulic and air components;
- At least 5 years on the job experience;
- Ability to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines;
- Ability to use computer and software as required;
- Ability to understand and follow English instructions;
- Must be able to bend, squat, twist, climb and kneel;
- Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week;
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics;
- Good hearing and vision; color vision;
- Ability to use hand and power tools;
- 3 years experience maintaining industrial machines;
- The ability to think outside the box to come up with solutions.
