Our company is looking for a Shop Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Picking up/dropping off tools using gooseneck trailer;
  • Assist with various shop duties as required daily;
  • Operate Torque Master and provide basic maintenance;
  • Responsible for continued development of service technician skills through formal training, self-study and on-the-job training;
  • Counter Service Fabricate custom hose and tubing assemblies;
  • Conducts self at all times as the public image of the company in accordance with MOS’s Code of Conduct;
  • Routinely demonstrates and creates a helpful and positive work culture;
  • Demonstrate willingness and capacity to be trained on most digital office equipment that is in or added to the company line;
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs;
  • Performs effective and efficient equipment set-up, repair or maintenance to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and product performance;
  • Accurately specify the correct replacement assembly based on customer-provided sample, application, and specifications;
  • Encourages and builds positive relationships and communicates effectively with all co-workers and outside customers and vendors.

Requirements:

  • Pass a DOT pre-employment drug test;
  • Ability to make good decisions under pressure, prioritize tasks, and strong technical knowledge are necessary for success in this job;
  • Must be able to accept change and adapt quickly and effectively to new situations and professionally cope with changing job demands;
  • Flexible work hours, must be available for on-call weekend hours;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, Heater and Shoring; possesses an understanding of diesel equipment, generators and air compressors;
  • Mastery of load bank repairs;
  • Some factory diesel, generator, compressor, HVAC training;
  • Read and interpret shop specifications, diagrams and blueprints;
  • Mechanical aptitude and sound judgment;
  • Ability to plan own work, follow instructions and work under limited supervision;
  • Primary focus is on supporting the mobile business unit with maintenance and servicing mobile trailers;
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems;
  • Basic networking knowledge;
  • Basic math including measuring, adding, subtracting, fractions.
