Associate Design Director Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Associate Design Director to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Helps set the design and experience vision for clients;
- Helps lead integration of multidisciplinary team;
- Presents work with confidence and compelling narratives;
- Tracks design trends and technology;
- Leads the design of communication experience as well as systems, products, services, and interfaces;
- Helps manage client relationships;
- Be active in the design community in forms of competitions, teaching, or thought leadership such as blog posts, speaking engagements, etc;
- Leads design and communication teams;
- Contribute to business development activities in collaboration with Smart’s leadership team.
Requirements:
- 5+ years with design firm, agency, or equivalent;
- Advanced UX/UI, service design, or similar skills and experience, with emphasis on visual design;
- Advanced communication and collaboration skills;
- Advanced presentation skills and experience;
- Advanced understanding of marketing, advertising, and technology;
- Mastery of design software and associated workflows;
- Design thinking skills and experience;
- Design leadership experience;
- Bachelor’s in Design or equivalent work experience preferred.
