Our company is looking for a Automotive Service Advisor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the daily inventory of technicians’ time is consistently sold to service customers;
  • Collaborate with upper management to make service department hiring and discipline decisions;
  • Maintain good working relationship with factory(s) and foster positive employee relations;
  • Set schedules and assigns tasks to service department employees;
  • Write repair orders;
  • Explain all service options to customers including time and cost estimates;
  • Consult with mechanics regarding appropriate service options;
  • Meets/greets customers in person or on phone;
  • Maintains documentation, including PO, invoices, work orders, reports, etc;
  • Takes ownership and accepts accountability for delivering outstanding service levels;
  • Looking for our next team member for our Mandarin location;
  • Giving approval, keying repairs, process invoices for payment;
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and to maintain a calm and consistent demeanor at all times;
  • Schedules appointments, answers phones and collects funds for services performed;
  • Handle customer issues including warranty-related and escalated issues.

Requirements:

  • Able to work with little supervision;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, via the phone and via email with customers;
  • Above average customer service and communication skills;
  • Automotive industry experience preferred;
  • Verifiable customer service performance record and/or training required;
  • Must have computer proficiency;
  • Be ready to show us your results;
  • Team player who is driven to succeed;
  • Must currently reside in the location of the position;
  • Must be a US Citizen;
  • Past experience as an automotive technician;
  • Must have an unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record;
  • Computer knowledge and use: Word, Outlook, general keyboard/typing skills, pone skills;
  • Ability to take ownership of work and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
