Branch Executive Director Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Branch Executive Director to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop sustainable and meaningful community relationships;
- Participate in the development of staff and volunteer resources;
- Uphold and honor the values of The YMCA;
- Work to build commitment and involvement in the YMCA and the community;
- Development and delivery of quality branch services;
- Adhere to procedures and commitment to our mission;
- Provide quality member experience serving the community;
- Ensure consistency with established YMCA policies;
- Provide leadership to overall branch operations, membership, community engagement and safety;
- Work in partnership with local agencies to deliver excellent services.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree with 5 to 10 years of operational experience including executive director/management experience;
- Ability to lead a large, diverse team;
- Must have experience and proven success in financial development and board development;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively in a matrix management system;
- Must have experience in developing community relationships and working with community partners;
- YMCA of the USA Multi-Team or Organizational Leader preferred;
- Extensive fiscal management experience with proven experience in building and managing a budget;
- Bachelor’s degree in related field with 5-8 years of YMCA branch executive experience or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Ability to lead, mentor and coach, Facility, Aquatic, Membership, Wellness and Program professionals.
