Our company is looking for a Director, Marketing & Brand Strategy to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and execute business development and marketing events, including a robust conference and tradeshow presence;
  • Lead, mentor, and build Rho’s Marketing and Brand Strategy team;
  • Manage the department operating budget, including oversight of vendors and contractors;
  • Drive digital strategy to focus on increasing pipeline and conversions;
  • Collaborate with business development team to build brand awareness within relevant research and client communities;
  • Performs other duties as assigned;
  • Manage the Strategy team and provide professional development coaching and learning opportunities to staff;
  • Develop and manage a marketing strategy and yearly budget to grow Rho’s business in the pharmaceutical and biotech market;
  • Lead efforts for market and competitor research;
  • Develop and lead a comprehensive account management model to serve partners across the organization;
  • Serve in a key management capacity for emergency and crisis communications, including evening and weekend availability;
  • Develop and oversee the execution of marketing campaigns;
  • Oversee marketing operations, including planning, assessment, and analysis of all aspects of the department’s work;
  • Oversee and manage website analytics, content, and landing pages.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to complex program details;
  • Ability to effectively manage agency and vendor relationships;
  • 5+ years of recent CRO marketing experience;
  • Substantial experience with project management software (e.g. Asana, Wrike);
  • Experience collaborating with a diverse team of professionals in an environment of partnership;
  • Desire to mentor, cultivate, and manage a team of professionals of varying experience and expertise;
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a senior marketing strategist position in corporate, agency, education, or non-profit contexts;
  • Experience with Hubspot and Salesforce preferred;
  • Substantial project management experience, with demonstrable successes in a complex organization;
  • Experience driving results in a highly matrixed environment;
  • Successful track-record of continual assessment, analysis, and repositioning of work to meet evolving organizational needs;
  • Effective presentation, documentation and interpersonal skills;
  • 10+ years leading professional services/B2B marketing efforts and teams;
  • Ability to effectively interface with senior management;
  • PMI Certification is a plus.
