Head of Human Resources Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Head of Human Resources to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility of labor and employee relations;
- Collaborate with management team to craft company’s vision and mission;
- Develop strategic HR plans and policies (recruitment, training, compensation, etc.);
- Manages the budget and other financial measurements of the HR department;
- Manages other areas such as relocation, employee communication, employee safety and community relations;
- Plan, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organizations human resource function and performance;
- Anticipates and resolve litigation risks;
- Monitors adherence to internal policies and legal standards;
- Develop all HR initiatives, systems and tactics.
Requirements:
- Proven track record as an HR lead;
- Deep knowledge of HR functions (talent management, recruitment, evaluations, etc,);
- Knowledge of labor laws in California, New York, and Florida;
- Experience in strategic planning and implementation;
- 4 year degree required, MA/MBA is preferable.
