Our company is looking for a Vice President of Human Resources to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical information to other staff members within the human resources department;
  • Monitors team member performance and initiates corrective action as needed;
  • Act as an employee champion and change agent by anticipating HR-related needs and delivering value added services for the benefit of the employees;
  • Maintains current knowledge of industry trends. Identifies trends that could impact the organization objectives;
  • Maintain an effective level of business literacy including company goals, mission, financial position, strategy, competition, technology and culture;
  • Development and management of the appropriate organizational design and reporting structure to efficiently support the human resource related needs;
  • Leads the implementation of short and long-term HR department goals, objectives, policies and operational procedures;
  • Create and support a company culture of mutual respect and support;
  • Design, develop and execute People strategies, policies and processes that align to and support the overall business strategy and are employee-focused;
  • Develop and implement new systems and policies necessary to enhance operations;
  • Direct on-boarding and training and development;

Requirements:

  • Track record of building systems and improving systems and policies to build HR’s capacity to handle increasing scale and complexity;
  • Irreproachable personal integrity;
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Masters Degree, PHR/ SPHR certificate or any other advanced education/ training in the HR field preferred;
  • Ability to conduct effective oral presentations to small and large employer or employee groups;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and objectivity in all transactions;
  • Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings at the employee and executive level;
  • Business results oriented;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey information effectively within all levels of the organization;
  • Maintain an effective level of business literacy including company goals, mission, financial position, strategy, competition, technology and culture;
  • Successful implement ation and manage ment of efficient and effective HR processes in support of the business;
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Masters Degree, PHR/ SPHR certificate or any other advanced education/ training in the HR field preferred;
  • High level of self-motivation, energetic and Servant Leadership management style with proven agility to anticipate roadblocks to success;
  • Knowledge of HR Laws;
  • Act as an employee champion and change agent by anticipating HR-related needs and delivering value added services for the benefit of the employees;
  • Up to 20% overnight travel.
