Our company is looking for a Kitchen Lead to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Management Team with menu changes and adjustments based on seasonal availability;
  • Order supplies, food and ingredients based on need from various distributors;
  • Ensure catering events and deliveries are implemented successfully;
  • Maintain inventory levels and conduct full weekly inventory;
  • Hire and train kitchen staff in specific stations, and cross-train as necessary;
  • Schedule and oversee necessary maintenance and repairs on kitchen appliances;
  • Complete Food Safety Certification;
  • Oversee production to minimize waste;
  • Partner with Culinary Director and the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations in the central kitchen facility;
  • Team Leadership;

Requirements:

  • 3+ years restaurant management experience;
  • Capable of conducting and assessing restaurant inventory;
  • Experience with delegating tasks and maintaining fast speed of service;
  • 5+ years culinary experience;
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule & weekends;
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once;
  • Excellent work ethic and ability to handle a work schedule in-line with business needs (ie. weekends, evenings);
  • Ability to stand for up to 10 hours at a time;
  • Experience working in the growth phase of an organization is a plus;
  • Must pass background check;
  • Culinary school or food industry-specific experience;
  • 1+ year of kitchen experience;
  • Product development experience is a huge plus;
  • Authorization to work in the United States;
  • 6+ months kitchen leadership experience.
