Practice Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Practice Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Verify practice invoices;
- Assist patients with applying for credit and other financial assistance;
- Verify and submit payroll;
- Manage accounts receivables including timely and accurate insurance claim processing and patient billing;
- Clinical and non-clinical supplies ordering;
- Office cleaning and maintenance;
- Maintain focus on a productive schedule that supports dentists and hygienists as they deliver high quality patient care and exceptional experiences;
- Coordinate daily team huddles, weekly team meetings and quarterly practice business meetings;
- Dealing with daily operations;
- Budgeting and planning for the hospital;
- Conflict management experience;
- A knack for problem solving;
- Scheduling associates, coordinating time off and managing continuing education needs;
- Participate in the implementation and support of EMR in the practices;
- Enforces compliance of policies and procedures and keeps clerical staff informed of hospital communications and policy changes.
Requirements:
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees, patients and other individuals in a professional and courteous manner;
- The experience, skills and abilities commensurate with managing an entity that exceeds $25M in revenue;
- Ability to manage multiple projects and processes and work effectively with other team members;
- Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally and nationwide up to 20% of the time;
- This position requires use and exercise of independent judgment;
- Strong track record of taking on new assignments and quickly mastering new ways of accomplishing goals;
- Spoken and written fluency in English;
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills;
- Exceptionally detail-oriented with a high degree of objectivity and analytical skills to ensure accuracy of reports and data.
