Our company is looking for a Production Unit Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, schedule, and review our employees;
- Implementation of LEAN principles to meet/exceed business and customer needs;
- Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with company values and current company policies and procedures;
- Implement 5S and schedules/runs kaizen events surrounding major tasks;
- Directly supervises employees to drive performance and ensure continuous improvement;
- Aids in the creation of training documents, work instructions, and standard work;
- Creates and manages metrics surrounding area performance and continuous improvement initiatives;
- Responsible for maintaining and improving upon existing visual management;
- Directs and implements safety measures as well as maintains all appropriate documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
