Our company is looking for a Resource Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the implementation of staffing strategies and initiatives for the group;
  • Help onboard new staff and freelance hires;
  • Help manage freelance engagements for group/office;
  • Serve as liaison between GDIT and Subcontractors to appropriately partner and staff a multitude of contracts;
  • Creates staffing matrices and builds resumes as customer deliverables for any new staff brought onto program, as well as for proposal efforts;
  • Strive for 100% customer satisfaction;
  • Support team leads on capacity planning, strategic staffing initiatives, and longer-term staff forecasting;
  • Ensures the pool of resources are fully utilized and that conflicts of priority across projects are resolved/escalated;
  • Collaborates and works closely with other functions to include Contracts, Subcontracts, Security, Human Resources and Finance;
  • Providing administrative support as needed;
  • Identify needs for freelance with as much advance notice as possible;
  • Alert account and department leads of any potential concerns or issues with meeting key client deliverables due to resourcing;
  • Participates in special projects as required;
  • Lead weekly allocations discussions and be main point of contact for staffing open roles;
  • Lead weekly agency resourcing meeting where team member bandwidth is allocated, negotiated and determined for the next week.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications;
  • At least 5 years of HR or staffing focused experience;
  • Ability to manage trade-offs effectively among schedule, scope, and budget on projects with respect to available resources;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Three years of experience in related field;
  • Experience with staffing and recruiting software tools, such as Workday, is desired;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential as you will be liaising with employees across all levels and departments;
  • Proven organization, problem solving and time management skills;
  • Agency / agency experience preferred;
  • Experience with resource management software required;
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines;
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication;
  • Good understanding of how interactive and creative gets concepted, designed, and produced;
  • Bachelor degree in business or related field of study and/or equivalent experience.
