Sales Support Coordinator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sales Support Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Able to routinely make a decision which may affect immediate operation and have a company- wide impact;
- The ideal candidate has experience in full-cycle procurement and supporting a large sales team;
- Process “sign-off” paperwork on projects;
- Other duties as assigned by management;
- Provides information on the status of equipment returns, sales orders, delivery schedules, etc;
- Provide price and product availability information;
- Processing customer returns;
- Coordinate with other departments as required;
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Excel;
- Operates as part of the Customer Service center;
- Responsible for entering and maintenance of orders and service contracts;
- Previous experience (3-5 years) experience working in a purchasing and procurement environment;
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
- Provide product information, may include providing limited technical assistance;
- Primary equipment used includes: computer, telephone, fax, scanner, calculator, filing system.
Requirements:
- Prioritize work and follow up. Excellent multitasking skills required;
- Three (3) years of work experience in administrative roles that require a high level of prioritization skills;
- Experience in or exposure to any combination of the travel industry, sales systems, project management or direct sales roles;
- The ideal candidate has experience in full-cycle procurement and supporting a large sales team;
- Previous experience (3-5 years) experience working in a purchasing and procurement environment;
- Ability to communicate well with customers, sales force, project managers, supervisor, and co-workers in both written and verbal communication;
- Service orientation;
- Coordinate with other departments;
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Familiarity with Stryker products preferred;
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – Excel;
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively both verbally and in writing;
- Problem solving skills to solve problems effectively and creatively while maintaining a high level of flexibility, professionalism, and integrity;
- Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a minimal amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, etc;
- Basic PC skills.
