Our company is looking for a Senior Director, Business Development to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements year-round cultivation plans ensuring superior donor relations, with a strong focus on driving new business;
  • Develop and implement a plan of revenue growth through key fundraising events, strategic market partnerships and philanthropic donors;
  • Day to day management of the campaign, including onboarding, training, professional development, performance management and coaching;
  • Communicates timely with VP of Development, Executive Director and internal and external customers;
  • Conduct daily calls and meetings in assigned market, developing mutually satisfying relationships with corporations and top-level donors;
  • Develop strong relationships with external and internal customers;
  • Initiate new hospital and accountable care organizations relationships related to integrated care services offered by DaVita and physician partners;
  • Identify and create successful merger/acquisition opportunities with independent physician practices;
  • Develop and review financial pro formas for joint venture denovo dialysis center and other business initiatives;
  • Identify and create successful joint venture partnerships with physician practices at managed access centers;
  • Mentor and train Sr. BDS and/or BDS;
  • Develop lines of business that enhance DaVita’s service offerings to physician affiliates;
  • Formulates capture strategies and provides leadership to capture teams;
  • Plans and participates in the organization’s advertising and promotion activities including print, electronic, and direct mail outlets;
  • Attains annual booking objectives for assigned programs/products.

Requirements:

  • Ability and willingness to travel locally and to work evenings and weekends on occasion;
  • Knowledge of corporate and community networks;
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and social skills;
  • Proven ability to think strategically, analyze market data and identify key trends;
  • Experience managing and cultivating high-level leaders at the c-suite level and a large portfolio of sales;
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a management capacity. Must have experience in managing a direct report with a revenue goal;
  • M inimum 5 years of successful experience in fundraising, sales or in a non-profit organization in a similar capacity;
  • Demonstrated track record in building effective, collaborative teams of staff and/or volunteers;
  • 6+ years relevant experience and proven track record of success in a similar role;
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher;
