Our company is looking for a Senior Operations Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities;
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level;
  • Prioritize issues reported to our customer service team;
  • Ensure all written Work Instructions and procedures are followed accurately and compliantly;
  • Mentor, coach, and develop current and future operations leadership;

  • Completing site visits (Training Managers, Instructors, and Contract Training Location Surveys);
  • Tackle problems with a data-driven approach and sound business judgement;
  • Perform capacity planning to determine staffing levels required to meet schedules across all customers;
  • Champion Continuous Improvement program implementation, maintenance and associate participation;
  • Collaborate with the Quality team to ensure all direct report associates have been trained properly and have appropriate training records on file;
  • Use analytical skills to assess department needs to develop short and long-term strategies for improvement;
  • Processing equipment/materials needed for contractor support classes.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of professional work experience in transportation, operations, logistics or similar fast-paced work setting;
  • Expert in package tracking, sorting, routing, and delivery performance metrics;
  • Standing for prolonged periods of time;
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs;
  • 7+ years of experience with DoD training ranges;
  • BS or BA in STEM or management field preferred;
  • 3+ years of experience in a DoD managerial role working with dispersed teams;
  • A demonstrated commitment to company values;
  • Knowledge of assembly and test methods;
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends;
  • Must be able to read, write and comprehend English;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers;
  • Proficient with modern fleet management and telematics tools such as Fleetio and Samsara;
  • Ability to manage training site activities;
  • Secret Clearance.
