Sr. Human Resources Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sr. Human Resources Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate schedules, status, issues, or obstacles to senior management;
- Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention;
- Facilitates professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff;
- Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations to ensure/recommend best practices;
- Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management;
- Implements departmental budgets;
- Reviews and works cooperatively with senior management to modify polices and practices to maintain compliance;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Provide constructive and timely evaluation positions supervised at specified company intervals (60-day, Annual Evaluations);
- Handles disciplinary actions and termination of employees in accordance with company policy;
- Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and training new staff for the HR department.
Requirements:
- SHRM-CP/PHR, or SHRM-SCP/SPHR highly preferred;
- Ability to speak multiple languages desired; English required, Spanish preferred;
- Experience working with organized labor and labor contract administration;
- Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one/group basis;
- Proficient in use of personal computers including but not limited to; Microsoft Office suite of programs, SAP, Adobe, HRIS, and ATS Systems;
- Minimum 7+ years proven experience of Human Resources Management required;
- Strong leadership skills, ability to coach/mentor employees one-on-one and in group setting;
- Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise);
- Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening;
- Excellent multi-tasking skills in a fast paced, changing, and challenging environment;
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Minimum BS/BA in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, MS/MA preferred;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, English required, Spanish preferred.
