Our company is looking for a Superintendent to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the activities of subcontractors, vendors and labor, maintaining close control over the accuracy and quality for each work activity;
  • Schedules and directs all inspections with city officials, government agencies and private agencies as required;
  • Documents and completes all punch list items;
  • Understanding and implementation of contract specifications and drawings;
  • eet and enforce all safety rules and regulations;
  • Manage all subcontractor relationships;
  • Coordinate the development of Daily, Weekly and Project level work plans and objectives with the Project Manager;
  • Experience working in occupied buildings;
  • Strong communication skills, ability to run meetings and coordinate with Owners and Designers;
  • Ensure that goals and timelines are set and met throughout the project’s time frame and within the project budget;
  • Maintains relationships with owners, tenants, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors and all prospective clients;
  • Supervise project partners, craft foremen, and crews;
  • Work with municipal authorities to assure construction meets code and all permits are obtained;
  • Provide Safety Training and Tool Box talks;
  • Maintain and update accurate redline drawings on site.

Requirements:

  • Highly skilled in maintaining overall cleanliness of assigned property;
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent;
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience;

  • Must be able to work independently with limited supervision and manage multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines on a routine basis;
  • Must possess excellent communication and leadership skills and be highly organized and service-oriented;
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks, to prioritize and organize, work well under stress in a fast-paced environment;
