Our company is looking for a Transportation Supervisor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and motivate Teammates;
- Monitor all scheduled tasks to ensure that they are efficiently completed;
- Keep all mistakes and waste to a minimum and check to make sure that routes are properly set up;
- Be able to interpret the Teammate Handbook;
- Provide departmental coverage and leadership and maintain level of managerial professionalism at all times;
- Have knowledge of backhaul and transfer procedures;
- Supporting Basic American Foods ability to deliver its on time delivery performance and fill rate goals;
- Interpret the Teammate Handbook;

- Report any accidents or unsafe conditions to the Transportation Manager & Safety Coordinator;
- Ensure routes are properly set up;

- Maintain effective and timely scheduling of Teammates.
Requirements:
