Advanced Data Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Advanced Data Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Understand client business and make recommendations and technology suggestions to solve problems and improve efficiency;
- Prepare for and support user acceptance testing;
- Prepare all necessary documentation and processes to enable ongoing support of the systems;
- Partner with development team(s) to build out prototypes based on user validation;
- Build trust and respect, establish relationships, and develop rapport with the business stakeholders and development team(s);
- Communicate with supervisors and management using clear, user-friendly terminology (emails, phone, meetings);
- Work closely with Data Management team to implement governance and policy around client data;
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems \ Computer Science is preferred or commensurate relevant work experience.
Requirements:
- Ability to react positively under pressure to meet tight deadlines;
- Subject matter knowledge in the Financial Industry in areas such as Dealer (dealer, branch, advisor, RIA etc…) is a plus;
- Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills;
- Enjoy challenging and thought-provoking work and have a strong desire to learn and progress;
- Able to work in a global, multicultural environment;
- SQL skills a plus;
- Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand;
- Able to work independently or as a team player and ramp up on new technologies;
- Self-motivated. Capable of working with little or no supervision.
